- Steps to Make the Library & Open Labs Safe
The following precautionary steps are being taken to promote the health of students and staff at our libraries and labs:
- Anyone visiting a library or lab is strongly encouraged to wear face protection that covers the nose and mouth.
- Social distancing of at least 6 feet is strongly encouraged among students and staff members as feasible.
- Desks, chairs, computer keyboards, mice, and other frequently touched surfaces are cleaned and sanitized at least once per day.
- Library & Lab Visitor Guidelines
Individuals who visit a library or lab are strongly encouraged to follow recommended guidelines to minimize the potential spread of COVID-19.
- Please limit time or refrain from visiting a library or lab if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, such as coughing, sore throat, fever, or shortness of breath.
- Please limit time or refrain from visiting a library or lab if within the past 14 days you have knowingly been in contact with someone who is under investigation or confirmed to have COVID-19.
- Social distancing of at least 6 feet is strongly encouraged among students and staff members as feasible.
- All individuals are strongly encouraged to wear face protection that covers the nose and mouth.
